Wow! I can see why this place is so popular. Large amounts of food for great prices. Not to mention everything was delicious! My daughter got a burrito and it was so full of meat she couldn’t finish it. That doesn’t happen very often anymore. I got the carne asada fries! Delicious!

This location is pretty consistent. The food is good and I have had many items from their menu. When it comes to Taco Shops, they are not all equal. Each seem to specialize in different items. This location has good breakfast burritos, rolled tacos, carne asada(it is a little salty) and the "BEST" enchilada sauce. I am also from San Diego, this place is not a 1-star. I have had a couple bad visits where I would rate this place a 3-star but it is consistently "GOOD", hence why it is 4-stars. Back to their enchiladas. Their enchilada sauce is homemade, it is not that dark red Las Palmas or Old El Paso from a can enchilada sauce. It is delicious!! The service is always good, especially when the abuelita is there. The atmosphere could be better. The building definitely shows it's age and the area is kind of ghetto.

One of the best taco shops for sure! I passed it for two years driving by not stopping because it looked a little bit ghetto. I’ll tell you what though the ground beef tacos are amazing. They give you your monies worth of toppings. The hibiscus flower tea red one, is so dam good Tip them, also get red and green sauce!

I ordered Drive-Thru breakfast burritos. Honestly, they are too damn big and I would prefer tacos instead. Tortilla was fresh and my sausage & egg and sausage and baking burrito was awesome. I will be back.

Food is good. They skimp on hot sauce. The cups used to be bigger too. They don't seem to like when I asked for no ice but if you knew how gross ice machines are you would never get ice either.

Best affordable street tacos in the city. Crispy-battered tender fish topped with crunchy cabbage and flavorful pico de gallo. Friendly staff in a clean, comfortable environment. Three locations but this is the OG.

I am from AZ and have been searching for Mexican food that tastes similar to AZ! Monica's is pretty similar with their tacos and burritos! My taste buds were so happy and im excited to go back again and again!
